Hello, my name’s James and ‘Achieve Creative’ or ‘uh–cheev kree-ey-tiv’ is the name of my new freelance graphic designer role and this is my new brand identity and website. Achieve is a big word to me, not only do I constantly misspell it, but I feel it sums up the one thing we all set out to do… to achieve something. And this applies to pretty much everything I intend to do as a freelance graphic designer… I will create a logo to help a client achieve recognition, I will design a flyer to help a client achieve several responses, I will develop a website to help a client achieve twelve new enquiries, and so on… So let’s all start acheiving. (dam it, I’ve done it again)
Prior to Achieve I was co-founder and Managing Director of graphic design agency Three&me Ltd in Ipswich, Suffolk. Along with two fellow University Campus Suffolk graduates we set up Three&me back in 2011, and we managed to develop a fairly sustainable business attracting clients such as NHS, University Campus Suffolk, Pioneer Pump and Theatre Royal, BSE to name a few. In fact a lot of the projects you see on my website currently reflect the portfolio work I was involved on with Three&me. By year two we were a two man band, and both myself and Sean (check out orderandchaoscreative.com) built up a proud portfolio of work covering areas such as branding, advertising and website design. Four and a half years on, we both begin exciting new chapters.
